Piddle

A little of this and a little of that,
A dash here and there like a mischievous cat,
And I feel my best while I’m wearing my hat
While I piddle.

For the time, it grows short, and the list, it grows long,
But I’ll set it aside while I sing a song,
For if you’re too focused you do it all wrong.
Gotta piddle.

It’s fun, you will see: you can play or just read.
Relax, be at ease, you will do what you need.
But for now, look around, let your mind sow the seed
And just piddle.

You will find you feel better, and after a while
You’ll discover you’re doing it all with a smile,
And it sure didn’t take running laps of a mile.
It’s no riddle.

You just piddled.
